On a visit to Dunmore East recently I went for a stroll with my camera early in the morning. Charles Haughey’s yacht, the Celtic Mist was sailing into the harbor with the sun shining down upon it.

Don't rock the boat(s) baby

But my little boat is empty
It don’t go
And my oar is broken
It don’t row, row, row
But my little boat is empty
It don’t go
And my oar is broken
It don’t row, row, row

This sculpture in Eyre Square, Galway is of a Galway Hooker boat. It’s a nice sculpture but from this angle unflattering.

Some pictures from wandering around Galway Docks (sounds seedy, doesn’t it?). It’s a great place for photographing I think- lots of colour, boats old and new, water etc.
