I’m delighted; I got a photo published in the LA Times Travel section (the man outside Crane Bar in Galway).
Somebody from the LA Times contacted me through Flickr asking if they could use my photo, I said yes if they’d credit me.
They also sending me a few clippings of the page (1 for me, 1 for the pub and 1 for the guy in the photo)
Post title is a song by the American hip hop group N.W.A.
Well I entered into O’Malley’s Said, “O’Malley I have a thirst”
In Ireland the pub door is always open….taken from A Healy’s Bar in Ennistymon, County Clare, Ireland.
Below the main photo is a photo of the entire front of the bar.
Post title is taken from Nick Cave’s O’Malleys Bar song from the album Murder Ballets.

A simply, humorous photo for the weekend. McDaids is a famous pub just of Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. It’s what you call a real down-to-earth traditional pub. The location of the Guinness pint sign sits perfectly next to the other signs.
