Galway Races (Look away, look away, look away)

One of the things I love about the Galway Races is the mixed crowds; loads of country farmers and thousands upon thousands of young people dressed up to the nines. I like the old gentleman looking away as the two women walk past.

After I posted this someone said it’d look good in black and white so I’ve added it after the colour.
Which do you prefer?

🙂 Like it Pa. Love how you cut off the heads of the crowd behind to exclude them but still leave them included if you know what I mean.

Thanks. I had to think about cropping the heads or not. Without the heads cropped I found the faces in the background too distracting.
When I saw the man sitting I knew in my head the shot I wanted straight away and had to wait for a few minutes hoping some dressed up women would walk past and there’d be nobody else in the way.
